What you are agreeing to

These terms cover the AutoSermon desktop application, this website, and the account service the app talks to. By creating an account or using the app you accept them.

AutoSermon is an independent product and not a registered company. That does not reduce what you are owed under consumer law where you live.

Your licence to use it

You may install and use AutoSermon on the number of computers your plan allows, for your church or organisation, for as long as these terms are kept. The software itself is not sold to you and the rights in it stay with us.

You may not resell it, rent it out, or present it as your own product. You may of course use what you create with it — slides, services, recordings — however you like.

Accounts and devices

An account identifies your church and carries your plan. Each plan covers a set number of signed-in computers, and the app tells you when you are at that limit rather than failing quietly at the point of use. You can sign a computer out from your workspace at any time to free a place.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them.

Plans, billing and cancelling

Free is free and stays free. Paid plans bill monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Yearly is charged as a single payment for twelve months at the discounted rate shown on the pricing page.

A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You cancel in the billing portal, reachable from your workspace; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the plan running until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If a payment fails, the plan is marked past due and the allowances fall back to the free tier until it is settled. Nothing you have created is deleted because of a failed payment.

If a charge is wrong, write to [email protected] and it will be put right.

Allowances

Paid plans include an allowance of cloud transcription minutes and AI credits. These are measured as they are used and shown in your workspace and in the app. When an allowance is spent, the features that draw on it stop until the period resets or the plan is changed.

A church using its own provider keys pays that provider directly and spends none of our allowance.

What you put into it

Your slides, sermons, recordings, transcripts and everything else you create remain yours. We claim no ownership of them and no right to use them.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you display — song lyrics, images, video and Bible translations all carry their own licences, and AutoSermon does not grant them.

Other people’s services

When you choose a speech or model provider, your use of that provider is governed by its own terms as well as these. We pass your content to the provider you selected and do not control what it does with it.

Fair use

Do not use AutoSermon to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, to attack or overload the service, or to work around the limits of your plan.

Availability, and a word about live services

This software is used in front of a congregation, so be plain about the risk: no software is certain, and neither is the network it depends on. Have a fallback for anything you cannot afford to lose mid-service.

We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change as it develops. Cloud features depend on the internet and on third parties we do not control.

If something goes wrong

The software is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and does not allow us to exclude. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid for AutoSermon in the twelve months before the problem arose, and we are not liable for lost income, lost data you had the ability to keep, or indirect losses.

Ending it

You can stop using AutoSermon and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

What is stored on your own computer stays there and remains yours.

Changes and law

These terms change as the product does. Material changes are dated and described rather than slipped in.
